For some reason they are Christian

some Christians, even some responding to this question, just can't hide their hate, and bigotry, and intolerance for people who disagree with them - can that possibly reflect the message of a true Messiah?

The problem is that many christians miss the point. I am a christian. I love Jesus more than anything else in this world, and I try to follow the Bible as far as my actions and lifestyle. The fact is that the Bible does say that homosexuality is sin. However it also says that envy is a sin and sex outside of marriage is sin and hatred is sin and lust is sin. Thinking too much of oneself is sin. The fact is that the Bible says that God hates sin. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. I believe these things whole heartedly because I trust the Bible and my God. But I also believe where the Bible says that "God so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever will believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God hates sin. God loves people. People sin. God deals with this conflict by paying the price for MY sins Himself so that He is free to love ME without compromising His stand on sin. The point is love. Jesus, in His life, lived according to the Law and the Bible implicitly. He stood for the truth and He always preached and yet instead of avoiding Him, sinners were drawn to Him. Why? Love. Those signs are wrong and the people who carry them probably are just operating under a misunderstanding. Either that or they are putting words into the mouth of my God and even though God is love, He doesn't like to be misquoted and He's no fun when He's angry.

Hey brother/sister, I just wanted to say that God DOES love all of his creation. Even the ones who reject him (homosexuals). You have to remember, though, that we are all sinners and none of us are perfect. I do not believe that God hates homosexuals at all. I do not doubt, however, that it does sadden him greatly. Just because somebody (in the wrong, mind you) holds up a sign that says God hates "queers", "fags", or any other derogatory term used to describe homosexuals, does not mean that He actually does! That is just one confused person's thought process. Just like when a parent sees their own children messing up it saddens them, but that does not mean that they hate that child.

He loves His creation. He hates their practice.

Those people aren't Christians any more than I'm a satanist. I know that sounds horribly judgemental, but it's true.
I'm a Christian, by the way.
I'm glad you clarified that it's only SOME "Christians."
I think you're speaking of the Westboro Baptist Church members. Those people are awful. God will judge them harshly for using His name like that.

What? incorrect! NOWHERE in the Bible does it say "God hates fags." this is inordinately preposterous! people who say that they are Christians, and that they postpone signs and indicators that say "God hates fags" are slender minded bigots who're in simple terms fearful of gays and are thoroughly ignorant. I, for one, am ill of Christians protecting up signs and indicators like that. God loves us all, he in simple terms detests sin. i'm additionally ill of Christians who help the killing of abortion docs. 2 wrongs do no longer make a suited. And, finally, i'm ill of Christians who decide different people. purely GOD is worth of judgment. those specific Christians enrage me (people who carry hateful signs and indicators, and people who help the killing of abortion docs, and so on)- yet I do love my fellow Christians, even although none everybody is suited. God loves everyone of his creations. People who love the same sex as themselves included. to say that they are Christian's is not correct! Being gay is a sin, so if you say because they are gay they should not be Christians, would be like saying, because someone lied they should not be Christian.
Now do not get me wrong, being gay is wrong, it is a sin, but open their hearts to christ, so you should not try to think of that as wrong. God loves for every human possible to open their hearts to him. I do think though, that they should repent and get married.

Unfortunately, they wish to be judgemental.
God does not condone homosexuality...He made man and woman to be together, especially in regards to relationships.
We (True Christians) are to love all mankind and bring them to the understanding of what God's plan is for their life, not condemn them for their lifestyle.
God will, when he deems it's time, to deal with the individual about their life and will bring about the change He wants, not what man wants.
I cannot apologize for anyone else, but I do pray that God will deliver you and redeem you to himself and you will know for yourself the full joy of the Lord.

Because they dont realy know the love off God .Are they would be trying to help people instead of putting them down.That is know way to lead anyone to the Lord.If you judge you will be judge.None are perfect no not one. Only God.
