If you don't want to rent or buy a steamer there's a trick that works too. You can get a humidifier and a space heater and put them in the room you want to take the wallpaper out of. Turn the humidifier and heater on and leave them for a few hours and it'll do its trick.

If all else fails you can go old fashioned and get a scraper and put some muscle into it. I prefer the easy, steamy way. Good Luck!

The easiest way, and least expensive, is to get a fairly large empty spray bottle ( like a Windex bottle) add hot water and spray on the wallpaper, making sure to get the edges well soaked. Wait a few minutes and it will peel off easily. Good luck!

you use vinegar and water mixture and sponge on in areas; allow to seep in and then peel and/or use plaster scraper to remove glue backing; you can put in a spray bottle as well; wallpaper has two coats, paper and glue backing which is yellowed. You can also use fabric softner and water same process. takes time and patience , don't scrap into the sheetrock
