I feel that prayer is a personal experience of talking to God and just like talking to anyone who you want to have a relationship with you have to relate to them. So if you talk to God he talks to you. He sometimes talks whether you speak to him or not and just like anyone else who is speaking to you if you don't listen or take notice you wont know what's said. Just keep doing it and keep on knowing that God hears and be ready for his answers 'cause they come - in most surprising ways sometimes

Firstly, Satan only has power because you give it to him by fearing him. The less you fear Satan, the more power *you* have.
As for prayer - I think people need to understand prayer is not answered in bright flashes of light with a booming voice. Prayer was not meant as a means to "get stuff". Prayer is about asking God for strength spiritually and emotionally to deal with difficulties. Or to guide you in some way, toward a goal.
So my next question is - are you sure your prayers aren't being answered? Are you sitting back waiting for God (externally) to do something? Or are you really searching inside yourself (which is what God wants you to do!) to find the strength to do for yourself? That's what the saying, "God helps those who help themselves" means.
God is always talking. Is anyone listening or are they too busy talking over Him?

First I want to let you know that I'll pray for you. Just spend a little bit more time with God. Talk to Him.
The reason you're expirencing this is because Satan is trying to pull you further away from God. Fight against it! KEEP PRAYING!!
God bless and good luck!!!

Sometimes it will feel like God is pulling away from you. There were many times that I felt that way, and it's what made me start doubting....for twelve years.
When it seems that God isn't listening, pull closer. Don't stop.
Are you in church? It may help you if you're not. I noticed that my faith wasn't growing when I wasn't involved. So it's worth a try.
I wish I could help more...but I know that God is always listening.

Don't give up!keep on praying.
Pray the scriptures and speak out loud the word of God,remember it is sharper than a two edged sword. It will put your angels to work when they here you speak Gods promises out loud.God wants you to study his word and believe what he says.Remember you have not because you ask not.Ask anything God says and believe and do not doubt.satan is a liar and the father of lies and wants to make you doubt, remember he wants to destroy you.
Here is a couple of links I think will help you.
