It all depends on your hair. the point of those shampoos is to take all the extra crud that adds up in your hair out so that it enhances the shine. They don't actually have hair dye in them though, so your hair is not going to go from blonde brown to looking like a blonde hair model. If your hair is naturally oily, it will make a difference... simple thinking here, the more to take off your hair, the more difference it will make. If your hair is already pretty clean and doesn't hold grease/oil as much, it won't do as well. If you really don't know where to go, you can always talk to your hairstylest the next time you go in for a trim.

Pantein pro-V blonde hilight enhancer is the best tht's the one i use. my hair always gets kind of frizzy because i traighten it evrey day. It also makes my blonde hair more shiny. I can't live without that shampoo. Because once i went to a Casino in New Jersey and I staid at the Hilton and i didn't bring my pantene shampoo because i forgot it so it had to use the hotel's shampoo and when my hair dried it was a total nightmare i was all poofy and frizzy. And because i was staying there for a week i had to go out and get the Pantein shampoo.

Honestly the best shampoo for Blondes is the John Freida Highlight Expressions. It is targeted for Blondes and helps keep your highlights. As far as Conditioners go for Blondes the Pantene line is better; use the honey to caramel toned one.

Grocery store products suck. If you want more gold in your hair then a chamomile shampoo is good, if you want less gold then the purple stuff is right. I have worked with hair 27 years and Nexxus shampoo does what it says. Professional products last longer because you use less. Consumer reports put Pert extra conditioning formula as #1 and Nexxus Therapy #2 because of the price. If you buy regular shampoo then at least buy good conditioner.
