Which is best road route from istanbul to Budapest ?

I think to travel by my car.

Take the E80 west out of Istanbul, to Sofia, Bulgaria. Continue on E80 to Nis, Yugoslavia. From there go north on E75 through Belgrade, into Hungary. After crossing into Hungary after about 50 km switch to the M5...it's a faster highway. I'm guessing it is total trip of almost 1500 km.
