I know for the most part that on here your not. But I do know people from my home town that are mexican, came here legally and resent the notion. They say it is giving them bad names and people are racist against them just because of there race. They are losing business. I know way more non -mexicans but latios who think the same. Anyone out there like this?

Crazybird, thats nuts! People like that should be deported, latino girl who came here and speaks the language gets beat up by latinos who dont want too!

I work with a guy who was about 4 years old when his parents immigrated legally. He was not born here so when he got old enough he started the process to become a legal citizen. He paid for it, he did it the legal way and he has been here seventeen years and is about to get his citizenship. He is adamantly against illegal immigration. I makes him mad to think he went through the proper, legal. tedious process and those people could end up getting their amnesty without doing what he had to do.
I'm sick of people claiming those illegal immigrants just want 'work to feed their poor families'. That is such a CROCK! I have yet to see anyone coming across that border looking emaciated or starving. I see people from Ethiopia and other countries where they are REALLY starving, their children are DYING from malnutrition and they would LOVE to come to the USA. They are POOR. The USA sends aid to those countries but we cannot take in millions of poor people to be supported by our taxes. It's the same with those illegally entering from our border with Mexico. We cannot continue to support unlimited numbers of people who just 'want a better life'. I want a better life, too. I can't just go move in with a rich person and demand they take care of me and my family, provide us with medical care, food, clothing and let me have the run of his house. It don't work that way. You have to live according to what YOU, YOURSELF, can provide. If they want a better life, make it better in their own country. They shouldn't slither into the USA and demand WE take care of them. They're not starving! They are no more poor than some of our own citizens. They need to get a real life in their own country.

Yes there are some but not many here. The ones with the biggest hate filled mouths are ruining it for the rest of the decent latinos. But from what I've seen and heard....they don't care. Did you hear about the latino girl that was beat-up by 2 other latino girls at school for speaking English?

There ARE. Some of the most rabid opponents of illegal immigration are the people that went through ALL the legal hassles and time spent pursuing legal entry to the United States.
They get 10 kinds of choked watching people hop the border and not suffer any sanction/penalty.

I am of hispanic origin, but one hundred percent American. I am against illegal immigration more than anyone you'll ever meet. I do believe strongly in coming "LEGALLY" and speaking the language. I believe in speaking English so strongly that I took a zero on a test in Spanish and received an overall grade or a 76 in there. The test was saying the pledge of allegiance in Spanish and I couldn't do that. What's more is I am a straight A student, so this was very important for me to screw my shot at being valedictorian.

the ones i know say the illegals should go back and go threw the process to be legal. it is not right for them to be here taking from us, the Americans. and not pay their taxes in like we are. if ones family member is not legal, then they should fix it so they become legal. the ones i know said they have family still in Mexico waiting to be legal. but they are not going to help them come illegally. they don't want the govt to be mad at them. they said if they are not legal go back. this is coming from a legal immigrant.

Anybody who has tried/hired illegal immigrants (for any job including household odd jobs) would definitely be against illegal immigration. Because they cost so much less. Principles apart, how many people do you think will happily pay more for legal workers when they have a choice of saving money by employing illegals ?

I am a Legal American from Mexico and I despise criminals especially illegal aliens, my family taught me right from wrong- in a very American kinda way~ very rare in the country I come from!

I am Hispanic and US born....I have nothing against illegals....I think they are exploited and I see them as victims.....If people hate illegals, I don't hold illegals responsible, but racist hateful people that despise them....I don't judge people based on there status....or skin color....You, on the other hand, do, grow up, just be thankful you weren't born in a third world country.....So many spoiled people in this country, who take everything for granted....
