i hate my old hair cut. right now, my hair has two layers. bottom layer long and top lay short a little below my ears. and i dont like it. got any ideas? or what popular now. most helpful would be a picture.

The move now is away from a shag, and more towards one length bobs, a-line bobs and layered bobs. For longer hair long layers with a body wave is everywhere you look on tv, all the stars have it...Oh yes, and eyebrow length bangs are all the rage, cheekbone length is more of a side burn look now, ya know. See my avatar and look around for collar length cuts that you like. Ask who cut their hair, get a consultation with that stylist (usually free) and then, look at some magazines, watch tv. You'll have it all sorted out soon.Good luck!

The newest hairstyles are a new type of cutting. If you see the hairdresser cutting into the hair, making the ends wispy, then that is it. Ends that flip up are done with a metal round brush while blow drying, or by using a flat iron to flip the ends up. The newest bangs are like Nicole Ritchie, foreword. It looks good on a lot of girls. Go to a good salon and look at their hairstyle mags and watch the hairdressers cut. Long Layers is the description I like best.

The styles i see now or in magazines is the shoulder lenth layered look with a side swept bang. this is seen all over and is extremely manangble. this looks cute on about every kind of girl. this look doesnt hug to your face, but its not out there like pippy longstockins. itll take the shape of whatever you put it to. so i really like it. hope this helps

medium brown hair with layers with blonde or red highlights not an ugly red though like a rusty red or brik.....dark red but not to dark and light blonde highlights
