Oh you poor thing! I'm so sorry! I did have one once...I was traveling and arrived at the hotel. Could not find my passport, my drivers license, my credit cards, my money. I was standing at the front desk with the clerk patiently waiting for me to produce something, and I almost passed out, I couldn't breathe. Then I found them.

My panic attacks come at Christmas, with all the crowds in the mall or store. Stores play a lot of music, people laugh and talk a lot, there's usually scents like potpourri, they have many more things in the store than usual, and I just zone out from all the stimulation. I can't handle it and leave the store due to an impending sense of doom and being out of control. Once outside the store (when all the stimulation stops), I can relax and become fine (10 minutes of breathing and concentrating on being calm). My poor mom, she doesn't know what to do, since she is usually the one dragging me shopping to begin with. We have to go during the work week, not on a weekend, and we cannot EVER go to Walmart (that one kills me completely). She knows that once I light out of a store, I cannot go back in (the panic attack will come back). So she buys whatever she has and goes in search of me.
I am not rational when this happens. I live with the fear that one day I will have an attack and take with me, as I depart, whatever was in my hands prior -- and actually shoplift. Not very cool, in my mind.

I was at Walmart and had just had my baby and it was a hard labor & delivery. My daughter was colic and it had been my first time out of the house. I was standing in the store with a full cart and my daughter started crying because she was hungry and I gave her a bottle of milk I made, and my son was nearby. Then all of the sudden this dizziness overcame me and the shaking wouldn't stop, I went to the dressing room with both children. I was so afraid if I pass out someone was going to take my children. I couldn't breath and everything turned black on me.
Needless to say we were in the dressing room for about a half hour and checked out and went home. that was horrible !!!!
i then saw my Dr and he gave a script for ativan .05 mg and told me to take it the moment I feel it coming on. And then get fresh air and keep saying "its going to be alright" over and over.
It helped so much. I hope you are ok.

Panic attacks can happen for a variety of reasons, if this is something that you find happens frequently you might want to visit a doctor to see if there is a medication that they would reccomend. Therapy can really help as well.
I used to get panic attacks in the middle of school. My heart would race and feel like it was going to beat out of my chest, I had a hard time breathing and would get very shaky. I would sweat and get a red face.
It can happen to anybody. You should definitely go talk to someone you trust (a doctor, your parents, school counselor) to see what they would reccomend.

I have had a few verifiable panic attacks all happening in the last 2 years since I turned 30. They happened within isolated incidents where I had to go to a children's store to get baby shower gitfts, 1 for a friend and 1 for my sister-in-law. The third I had when having to shop fo a birthday present in a childrens store for my nephew. The fourth happened when I had to actually attend a baby shower. And, the last when I was about to go to a baby's birthday party. This last one was so bad that I did not even go out of the house to the party. Because I knew, or felt, it wld be a repeat of the symptoms once I got there.
What happened physically/emotionally? I was not CONSCIOUSLY thinking about the situtation, or feeling fearful or anxious toward its. But, my subsconsious certainly was and reacted. I began to sweat, feel dizzy, felt like my heart was racing, felt light headed. I felt like I was flushing warm (sot of how u feel when you have been embarassed), and thirsty. My legs felt weak. My hands were shaky. I felt like something/myself was out of control, but I didnt know why, or exactly what part of me needed to be reigned in.
The first time it happened, I thought I was about to have some sort of serious health crises...some stroke or heart attack. But I couldnt imagine why that was happeneing becuase Im young and healthy. But, as soon as I left that environment, breather in a few gulps of fresh air and a drink...IN A MATTER OF LESS THAN 5 MINUTES....i felt fine for the rest of the day. Afterwards, I thought maybe I had just been hungry and it caught up to me. The next time I realized I was again in a baby store. ANd subsequently I realised I was having these episodes in certain evironments, which though I did not consicoulsy realise it, caused a lavel of anxiety for me. And pointed to my unresolved issues about whether or not to have children, while having to recognize that I am aging, and my time frame to easily have a child is waning.
So, for me, it is not that I have an aversion to baby items, baby stores, or babies. I have an issues that is RELATED to that. For you, it may be similar, you may not have an issue with mosquitoes, but with fears of becoming sick, or anxiety about death. Though Im sure you may have figured that part out.
Good luck...

Believe me, I understand the feeling. I suffer from agoraphobia, panic attacks, and depression. With my first panic attack, I had to crawl around on the floor since I "forgot" how to walk. I've had quite a number of other attacks since that first one over ten years ago. So far, since it was only one for you and had a reason behind it, I wouldn't worry about it. If the attacks continue or you find out that you are becoming more and more afraid of other things, look for help. It's too late to help me, since I have become afraid to leave the front door and help refuses to make house calls. Good luck!
