It's totally normal. I just realized last night (one-year post break up) that I spent nearly 5 years with a man who never loved me. Wow, did that ever change the way I look at the world. Who knew I could have been so STUPID, let alone for so long? Sheesh, part of my identity is being the smart, nerdy, goody two shoes, and I really don't know what I am if this isn't what I really am. Time to reinvent myself, I guess?
Hopefully, it is not circumstances such as this that have led to your revelations. Don't let it get to you. Look to the bright side and take the opportunity to find out who you are, and who you want to become.
I was just watching a clip on CNN today that was discussing young married couples in Hollywood, and why they fail even after it seems like they were going to make it. Turns out your brain does some major changes during the ages of 20-25 (for women, I bet for men that change doesn't happen until like, 39 or something, given their slower rate of maturity, hehehehe) and that if you are married after 25, the chances of success/happiness are much higher. Now, interpreting this to a non-relationship type situation would lead me to believe that you can't really know yourself until about the same time. Experiences you have between now and then could be the most important ones in shaping who you eventually, um, turn out to be. So live life, have fun, and don't do anything you'll regret (more than once!)
Good luck!

try to be in the safety of your sympathetic moods.we often feel like were trying to leave the seen of a crime when we know we've been screwed out of our futures with wars that take all the money and directive insights of attentions in a world that is neither desirable nor reasonable, and the doors seem to be closing as business is holding out for cheapest labor and nobody can live on what there world is offering any more.
most of the crisis's are made from broken ties to our heritage there seems to be a lack of identity except if your republican, any thing I'll could be waste of time and bring your own money to if you want to be assumed to be as well financed republican, doesn't seem to hold much water as a demonstration of what is America anymore, so if your clueless most of us are too. it not an identity crises as much as a crisis in leadership that leads this country nowhere and osama knows that we are just stalling because there's no power on earth that will allow us to blast a nuke in the game to stop the habitual nagging third world. we had a wait and see for the whole cold war and it got us nowhere with out nuclear authority,as we all loss our idenity from the worlds failure to be responsiable as a idenity

I know what it is you're experiencing, are you familiar with eastern methods of therapy? I mean Buddhism, Taoism, etc.
Normal is insane. Your partial losing of your self is a spiritual step up.
It's normal in a small percent of humanity, compared to average.

This is a very good blog, a beginner’s guide to abnormal psychology.
Short, clear and simple; and you can even post your question and contact the author regarding particular subject you are interested in
