Yes, osmosis and diffusion are both forms of passive transport. In osmosis, however, only water moves. Water molecules move from low concentrated areas to areas of high concentration to dilute it. In diffusion, other molecules (i.e. sugar, salt, potassium) move from high concentration to low concentration. Since they are both types of passive transport, they do not require energy.

Yes, both are passive - the diffence is that the term 'osmosis' ONLY refers to the passive movement of WATER molecules.

energetic transport and facilitated diffusion are distinctive in many strategies yet one way they're comparable is they the two use transport protein. a fashion they're distinctive is facilitated diffusion would not require power enter from the cellular together as energetic transport does require power enter from the cellular. yet differently is facilitated diffusion is classed as passive transport, unlike energetic transport that's labeled as energetic transport. The final way they variety is for the direction of circulation facilitated diffusion is going with concentration gradient, together as energetic transport is going against concentration gradient...!!

Yes both are passive absorptions only
But osmosis is the movement of water molecules through semi permeable or selectively permeable membrane
Diffusion is imbibition or simple absorption of water by any dead things.ex .dry seeds absorb water and swell and melch which is dead plant parts absorb water and supply it to plant.another example old wooden doors absorb water in rainy reason and swell in their size
