Anybody who is a Christian or otherwise, take note of the attitudes of all represented in the Religion and Spirituality questions. Who is showing hatred, intolerance, disrepect, bitterness, sarcasm, a cynical attitude and using fowl language? Who are the ones with a cheerful, loving, forgiving, confident, and peace-loving attitude in general? Some may fit in-between (make up your mind, don't cuss and call yourselves Christians!) but as a rule or a majority, what have we witnessed going on here? A real attitude to learn or be a reasonable ambassador for the God (or demons) we serve or just foolishness to debate for debate's sake and to be "right". Consider who each represents, God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost or other gods including themselves which is idolatry/witchcraft/stubborness/satanic servanthood while considering the most important questions in life. Looks obvious to me!

Correction: True Christians do not put a price on heaven, only false prophets (rhymes with profits) do!

Sorry I can't pick an answer. The majority showed nasty attitudes (in my judgment!) and since not everyone actually identified their belief system, I'll leave others to judge (that is to form an opinion based from factual evidence). Also, I haven't been on here very long but I have witnessed much hatred and personal attacks (including here) from everyone against most Christians. The main thing is that we are all conscious that if we want anyone else to want what we have, we should be aware of the attitudes we show (including me). If I hadn't made up my mind already what to believe, I would definitely say the athiests and agnostics have nothing but hatred, sarcasm, cynicism, disrespect, foul language and bitterness to offer so maybe in my short experience here that makes me biased but they will have to prove otherwise for me to change my opinion. What good is intelligence no matter what you believe if your attitude REEKS??

So...are you against us? You rambled on too much that I got lost on that...

I mean really...many atheists may be more cynical, but we grow up in a mixed up world where for the majority of us tolerance is an automatic life lesson. We don't grow up in some church (well, those of us that were never believers) being taught that we are the right ones and others should convert, which is total intolerance. So sorry, we have you beat on that part.

As for the rest of it, it's totally prejudiced stereotyped crap out of a small minded believer. There are MANY great non believers and MANY nasty Christians, and don't even brush it off with saying they aren't "true" Christians, that is a total excuse. Maybe straightening up your own "untrue" Christians should be more of a priority then being ignorant to US.

If you are going to make such prejudiced generalizations, then you can go to the hell that you believe in.

Depends on the asker or answerer. I have seen equally hateful poison spewn by (in no particular order) Atheists, Christian Fundamentalists, Catholics, Wiccans, Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses, Agnostics, Southern Baptists and anyone who I am leaving out who "the shoe fits on" Everyone is guilty, guilty, guilty,

Furthermore, if anyone has the brass balls to say something peaceful on here (for the most part) they get mega thumbs down for their efforts,

To answer your next question, I really don't know why the hell I keep logging on, perhaps it is for that 0.5% of sincere, inspirational questions and thoughtful answers that truly warm my heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for askling,

God Bless You All

I think it depends on the person and on the religion. I dont like religions cause instead of really doing what God want, they lie, they make you feel bad about everything you do, they dont like poeple of other religions and they put a price on faith and heaven. I think that some atheist are closer to God than some Christians. But then there are some atheist that try to make people bad about their beliefs, i mean, i they dont believe in God then its non of their bussines!

They are both causing trouble. Extremeists of every sect are bad news. However, remember that the atheists may feel slightly intimidated - remember, atheists used to get burnt at the stake by christian authorities a few hundred years ago, maybe that's what fuels the aggression.

This is a matter of individuals, not groups. There is a full range of grumpy and irritable to serene and pleasant Christians, and there is the same range in atheists. Religion does not determine disposition.

Sunni Muslims are the worst on this site, followed a fair way behind by the Christians. Most of the others seem okay.

I have seen very ingelligent posts from some Christians and very intelligent post from Atheist ,at the same time I have seen very disrespectful ,ignorant posts from some Chrstians and some others from atheist. THERE IS NOTHING OBVIOUS, there are some rotten apples in both groups Chrstians or Atheist. YOU CANNOT GENERALIZE.

Both Atheism and Christianity seems to be oppressive philosophies. Agnosticism on the other hand seems to be about liberation.
