My friend was bailed out by bondsman, went to court, was sentenced to two days. He paid the guy $250 w/ $250 due. Also the bondsman wanted a car title. Another friend "forged" his name on one of his titles to give to bondsman, as per his request. My friend still owes the $250 balance, did not show up to do two days and the bondsman has just taken his car! There is a catch. Inmates aren't allowed to "sign" ANYTHING off while incarcerated in WA. Does that leave him any options? (Besides doing the two days) Now the guy wants $750 to get the car back! ???? We are trying to do this right, now.

Just by not showing up to do his sentence, your friend is in big trouble. The Bondsman, will end his responsiblitiy , when he has your friend behind bars. The Bondsman will hunt, until he has found his subject. By not showing up, is not good. The Bondsman will get what he wants and this means double money, when the person he helped shows total irresponsibility. Better get a Lawyer. The Bondsmen will win.

If your friend was supposed to give the bondsman another $250 then that must be paid. If your Friend was out on bond and did not show up while still on bond, then the bondsman is out $5,000.

First of course prisoners ( inmates are in state prisons) can sign documents, they have the right to see thier attorney and file and recieve legal documents.

The bondsman has to be paid, most will not let you out unless you pay in full, but the car title served as that.
You can't claim it frauded, or the perosn who signed can be arrested for fraud.

So now you have to pay 750 instead of 250 because you didn't.

You do not have the story correct
