Listen to the key words.
Once you learn to stop to think how a word is spelled
you should get faster in taking notes.
To make sense of your notes, and help you remember, go over them as soon as possible after class and round out your writing then.
Eventually the whole process will become second nature.
Choose a writing utensil that is best for your speed and the pressure you put on the paper.
