he is very healthy, thin and is just sneaky, almost as if he is afraid that he won't get any thing that is good, we have talked to him and tried to reason with him but he still does it. I do not believe in spankings . We have tried to hide things, move them from place to place but to no avail, he is just that sneaky.

This is hording behavior, but I've only seen it in children who don't get enough to eat.

I would suggest taking your son to a therapist to find out what's really going on. He's hiding food for a reason and a therapist may can help find out the real answer. It may be an answer he won't tell you, but will tell someone else.

You need to ask him why he feels the need to sneak food. Do you limit the food he eats, or set rules regarding food? If you are not setting restrictions, then he may just have an OCD. ( Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) Hey it happens. It would probably be better if you talk to a doctor about this. So you can find out for sure.

Mr. Bush is trying hard to convince the people of America that the raising inflation is not because of his bad policying but because of factors external to the US of A. While as the truth is that a bigger part of the US national budget is spent on the so called "war on terrorism" than is being spent on feeding people. The comment on the Indian middle class by Bush is just a desperate attempt at re-gaining the parties credibility in the eyes of US nationals!

This sounds like an eating disorder in the making. I would talk to a counselor or his doctor.

This is something that I would not pooh pooh. There must be something that has triggered this.

Have you tried talking to him? Calmly?

Lock the pantry, use a child type or other type of lock.

Buy only diet or healthy, vegetarian food.

Or don't keep food where he can reach it.

Or take him to a phsycologist.

What you should do is sign him up in some sort of physical activity, whether it be soccer, baseball, football, karate, boy scouts, etc. This will help to keep him from becoming severely obese in the future.

you should take him to speak with a professional. he might feel ashamed of eating. which could lead to an eating disorder.
let him know that he is only allowed to eat at the table and when he is hungry all he needs to do is ask for a snack and you will prepare it for him.
