basically it means just cos one person does not like something doesnt mean it is ugly or bad. we all like different things.

to one person you maybe the the most beautiful thing in the universe - to someone else, you could look but ugly!
its the taste a person has, therefore you yourself cannot say that you are beautiful or ugly, that decision is down to the person who is looking at you!( the eye of the beholder)

It basically means that everybody finds different things and people beautiful; a person who is considered as "ugly" by one person could be considered as beautiful by another.

It means that somebody can be beautiful to one person and not to another. it means that the person that is seeing the other person is the one that can judge if that person is beautiful or not.

it means the person who is meant to be with you is the only one who will see your true beauty, and it doesnt have to be external, but it could be the way you act and the bad things about you that they accept.
