It could be kidney stones. When you are passing those it will make your urine red tinged. But once they pass everything heals up and so you will not find blood on your urine tests. You should have a kidney ultrasound to check for kidney stones or have the urine test done while you are actively peeing red.

Proper testing of urine for dietary dyes or haematological proteins aught to give a clue. Surely a hospital full of labs and doctors should be able to learn something from a bottle or red pee.

Yeah, beetroot does that to me. I agree with others who fingered this vegetable - or anything else with a strong red dye. If the tests are negative, don't worry!

Do you eat a lot of beetroot or other foods containing a lot of red colouring? Because that can cause discolouration of urine.

If they only took your urine sample then ask them to take samples of your stool because I think you might be suffering from schistosomiasis or bilharzia, which is a tropical disease. Either you are suffering from the latter or it might be cystitis or ureteritis. Go and seek advice from another centre don't go back to those who carried the above tests for they seem to be quacks.
