The wonder,
The hope.

Happy Christening Tom.
With any luck, this will be the first of only 3 visits to a church.
Your next would be your wedding, and you wouldn't know anything about your final one.
Don't make a habit of it!

I would recommend that you Google Khalil Gibran - quotes for something suitable to put in the card. Meaningful quotes but not overly religious for lots of different subjects. Hope this helps.

You’ve been a special blessing
since the day that you arrived,
Bringing so much happiness
and filling hearts with pride...
And now that it’s your
Baptism/Christening Day,
this brings a special prayer
That God will always keep
you in the shelter
of His care.

each baby born into the world
brings hope and joy and love
like flowers that bloom in springtime
or rainbows up above

( ok not much but i had to think quick lol )

It doesn't make sense that they want to go to Church now for this but, they do not go otherwise.
