I've already reformated C not working

You will need to format your hard drive with the /b parameter to make it a boot drive. This will then allow you to load Linux. If you want to operate two systems, then you will have to partition the hard drive but I think Linux can take care of that for you when installing.

linux does not need to be partitioned it does it its self format c. then start over with linux......
