"why do so many people in religious section say you dont need to let Messiah Jesus forgive your sins&save you?
If your anti Jesus why do you come to this section? why not hang out with the ones that dont care if they reject the love of Jesus and his precious bible. Why do you have to come here-if you dont care about going to hell to be tormented forever with gnashing teeth as Jesus says for rejecting the joy of knowing him as your best friend and savior?"
BWA HA HA HA HA
Oh, wait. You were serious?
Sorry 'bout that.
OK, I'll try to explain this slowly.
This is the "Religion & Spirituality" section.
It's not the "Christianity" section.
Christianity isn't the world's only religion, and religions aren't the only sources for spirituality. Indeed, imo many seem to be the aintithesis of spiritual.
Do you need me to run through that again?
Was that too nuanced? Ok, try this:
Because you don't get to decide who gets to post here.

David Israel,
You are a Christian. I do know that you seem to have some psychological disorders and therefore may not be capable of hearing dissent. Nonetheless, I must tell you david that I think this evil and deceptive form of missionizing you are perpetrating is degrading Christianity and the good, normal christians who practice it.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess learning basic hebrew wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity.

Uhhh..honey, people do that because you are insulting, rude and ignorant.
Believe what you want to believe, just don't make asinine comments about going to hell to be tormented etc. It only makes you sound like a less spiritually enlightened human being who lacks an understanding of and compassion for others.

i come here because the section is not titled "christianity and spirituality", it's called "religion and spirituality". there are many religions in the world and to think yours is the only one is ingorant, pompus, and prideful. and for the record, christians have been persecuting other religions for many centuries, so i don't want to hear the boo hooing about how picked on you are now. you guys have killed many millions of people in the name of your god. yet you say killing is wrong. if i don't convert back to christianity, will you kill me too?

i do not have self assurance that Jesus is intimidated through some thing, as he's area of the Godhead/son of God. i have self assurance he's saddened after we do not enable Him into our hearts, and settle for the sacrifice he made. My emotions have little to do with it, so i do not convey them right here, and no i do not imagine my emotions replace his.
