Like you said Domestics are cheap, But Imports have more flavor then are Domestics.

They both have Alcohol that's a Good Thing, but Heineken, Guinness, Corona, Newcastle, Labatt, Moslon, Moosehead, Sam Adams they can tell you they have flavor.

Bad Beer is bought by Morons, Good Beer is Bought by Real People like you and Me, buy Imports If you hate Bud, Miller, or Coors.

It is all a matter of what you are accustomed to. As an "amateur" beer drinker, most times out to a bar to watch a game or whatever, Miller Genuine Draft or something similar was the order of the day. The prime objective usually was to get buzzed without a great deal of fuss. As time wore on, Genuine Draft led to Labatts Blue or other canadian lager, while the objective changed to getting buzzed without having to suffer with an inferior tasting beer.

During the time that I began to appreciate beer ( the 80's ), the entire beer market was being re-invented by craft brewers. The craft beer revolution eventually provided the alternatives to mass produced lagers for someone to turn to.

Probably because they're ignoramuses who have never tried a good import or craft brew. Some people are so used to the cat p*** that the US big breweries produce, they can't handle "real" beer. I cut my beer teeth, so to speak, on Moosehead, so it took me three tries to finish a Guinness. Since then, though, I just can't stand swill that purports to be beer.

Some people drink the lightest, wateriest beer they can find because they don't like real beer and just wanna get drunk. I preffer to drink REAL beer (guiness, two hearted ale, anything from new glarus brewing, home brew) because i enjoy BEER, not the alcohol it contains.

I'm not much of a beer fan, but I do enjoy an occasional pint of Guiness if I am at a Pub.

It's all a matter of taste and what you get used to. If you drink it enough after a while it starts to taste good.

I don't drink but just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it's bad. There are probably some people who think your taste is worse.
