He is all for it, dude.
With the fall of the Roman Empire, the librarian of Alexandria was pulled off her carriage and skinned alive. Literacy dropped. Even the Pope had to have the Bible read to him. In the first crusade, Christians killed tens of thousands of people they called "infidels". The Children's Crusade (1212) caused the deaths of nearly 50,000 children. Preachers sentenced to death and executed thousands during the Inquisition (1233-1834) for heresy and witchcraft. There were the Salem witch trials (1692) in America. The 17th Century Thirty Years War (Catholics v. protestants) wiped out tens of millions in Europe. In the Taiping Rebellion in China in the 1850's a Christian cult started a war that resulted in the slaughter of twenty million people. In the Holocaust six million Jews were murdered. Muslims and Christians in Bosnia reached a death toll of over 250,000.

What does God think of conflict in general? Besides two factions in a war, there's sibling rivalry (since Cain and Abel), disagreements between love ones and friends, between high school cliques and Indian tribes to national sects in civil wars, etc. Humans are genetically flawed due to the "Fall of Humankind". As long as there are just two people on the face of the Earth, then there will be conflict and war. In some cases war is perceived as essential by God to root out an evil people, say in modern times the Nazis and Islamic Terrorists. There is even a missing book to the Bible entitled, "The Book of the Wars of God."

God doesn't like war! even in the 10 commandments it says you must not murder...even Jesus wouldn't allow Peter to fight for him when the Jew were to take Jesus to the then local court. jesus said that those who use the sword will die by the sword...Jesus said love your enemies...
1 john 4:20-"if anyone makes the statement, "I Love God" and yet is hating his brother, he is a Liar" that just shows the hypocracy of most religions today that promote warfare...they could be killing someone on the other side that is the same religion as them.
well, jesus gave prophecies about the last days: “You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that you are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.”—Mt 24:6, 7
soon God will step in and rid the world of war and those who cause the wars at the "war of the great day of God the Almighty" Dan2:44; Rev 16:14-16; Prov 2:21,22. then the earth and those righteous ones, will enjoy true peace and unity just as before Adam and Eve sinned...

God gave man dominion over the earth(found in Genesis 1:26). He also gave us free will he didn't want us to be puppets. War at least in the bible was a form of punishment. For instance god gave the Israelites Canan(the middle east). The people their were wicked and evil. They a had pushed God out of their lives. The way I see it most of the suffering that goes on in the world is because of sin.

i think it part of the natural make up of the world. it is meant to be there. for good or bad,
the question of whether the divine has an opinion about it...for or against it...
i dont know whats going on...but it would appear if there is control of world by the divine, that its obviously allowed, with all of the good and evil.
"God is good and he cares for humanity", it is humanity's hope. but there is also a certain allowance for humanity to hurt each other. its a strange world.
the less you think about it and the more you just "play the game" without thinking about the deeper meanings to life, the more you go along with what everyone else is doing and the less crazy, and more socially acceptable, you appear to be...
...until one starts to lose the war,
just ask George W.

Apparently he likes it - assuming of course there is a God. Think of all the wars that have been fought over religion in an attempt to "spread his word." If he wasn't for war, he would have put a stop to them long ago.

Only when it justified his needs in the past. In the Old Testament, he sent his chosen people to take the lands for themselves from those ungodly people. The Israelites then embarked on a 7 year genocide program slaughtering man, woman, children, and even the animals in some villages.
With Jesus however, things are different now. It's basically love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, do not seek vengeance for vengeance is God's, etc. Seems totally opposite the New and Old testament, huh? For now though, no wars, though Revelations predicts Nation will rise against nation, kingdoms will rise against kingdoms. War is expected in the future. Then there will be Armageddon....the final great war.

I can't say what God thinks about, but if you believe in an Almighty God and the Creation then surely everything in it is either a direct or indirect creation or aspect of God. All species engage in warfare on one level or another, although humankind has taken it to unprecedented levels of death and destruction on a massive scale. Scientific discovery indicates that someday God will make it all stop, sooner or later everything goes big bang.

god is like the old guy that used to do a lot of weed back in the day, old testiment god was so into war, he would do it all the time and just kill thousands of people at a time because someone wanted him to or if they talked down on god or if god wanted to see some killing action, god is watching war because hes checking to see if the amout of humans will balance into the amount of all the other organisms on earth

Psalms 11:5 Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.
John 18:36 Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”
I'm 100% sure that God doesn't think much to people killing each other. Each side always thinks that they are in the right, but they are obviously mistaken.
Revelation 12:9 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him... 12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
