i see you are getting alot of diferent answeres here. its important that you pray in jesus' name, because the bible says "whatever you ask in jesus' name you will recive if you serve him and believe". but honestly i believe God will hear you either way and as you grow your view of prayer will become less rule orientated and more about a relationship with God.

A prayer defines the need for finding a reason to continue living. So when i pray, it is solely for the hope that my life on Earth has purpose........,.,.Catholics say Amen after their christian prayers, but i strongly feel that prayer, to each individual is very private and benificial to what this person is seeking by way of prayer..

In Jesus Name I pray. Amen "[It is done.] No matter what they say, no matter how it looks, no matter how it feels, it is done and I will wait on God. When you pray, it is like you plant a seed. Wait on God to bring the harvest. Rest well and have faith in God. Don't worry or doubt because it will put poison on your seed and kill it. Doubt closes Gods ears. Really. It goes to God in the spirit. wait. God will test your faith. wait . There it is, manifest in the natural. When your dad planted a seed in your mom, she had to wait. Even tho she didn't see or feel a baby right then didn't mean there wasn't one in her. Right? It is the same way in prayer. It is impossible to speak something and not see it. It takes time. Life is about following instructions.
