I have been out of the hospital for exactly a month now with major depression, so I can relate to her suffering at least in general.
If you want to talk about anything, feel free to email me.

All studies on prayer except one have reached the same conclusion: prayer does nothing. At best it is a placebo.

The only "study" that said "prayer works" was proven to be a fraud: the "researcher" ignored results he didn't like, thus manipulating (cheating) the results. He was a godbot who wanted the "result" to agree with his mythology instead of finding the truth.
In fact, during the largest study, they found that people who were prayed for and knew there were prayers WERE THE MOST LIKELY TO DIE. If prayer did anything, it killed people.
If you really want to help her, sit and talk to her to give her emotional support: play games, tell jokes and read her stories. It will be a lot more purposeful. Studies have shown that patients with positive mental attitudes do better after surgery.

Yes, I certainly will. This is one of the reasons Catholics ask Saints to pray for us too. They intercede for us just like you are asking us to.

Father,
I lift up this girl to you, for your healing hand to be place upon her according to Your perfect will and time. Even htough her flesh is sick, you see her soul as perfect and free from sickness.I praise you and thank You for blessing and comforting this family during this time in their lives. I ask that You always shine your brightest light upon them, and use them as a testimony of their faith in You in their lives.
I know that what ever you bring us to, you always bring us through. In the precious name of Jesus, amen

Can you give me her name? Because I have a prayer pouch in my room filled with paper that has names of relatives, friends, and sick people, that need my prayers to heal and protect them. I will also light a white candle for her every night.

You don't have to ask me twice. And I will also say a prayer
for you, and you family. God bless you at this difficult time
in your life. You will get through this with God's help.

Tell her that I will pray for her. It is important to tell the one prayed for.
