Are you saying that "A" is the fist etter of your name and "B" is the first letter of husbands name? I am not sure what this A & B stuff has to do with anything otherwise - nor why anyone is annoyed.
Can you edit your question so people who do not know your names / significance of "a" and "b" etc have so vague chance of trying to understand what you are trying to say ?

The male's sperm determines the sex of the child. I suggest that it is the parents' decision as to what to name the children. Your mother had her naming opportunity with her children.

Instead of being concerned with the names of your children, be blessed and grateful that you have any kids at all. There are people out here that couldn't have any children if they tried and y'all are complaining about names. Please be blessed and not stressed ok. And you're welcome...
