I'm 25 and I have had my very lovely dark blonde hair all different ways: long, short, dyed it platinum, dyed it burgendy. I've had twelve inches cut off in one blow and not even flinched. I've had bad haircuts, given myself bad haircuts, and even had one tragic self-dye that turned my hair a weird shade of green. I mean, its just hair, right?
I have never ever cried until yesterday.
Yesterday I went in with my very short crop of hair and asked to have it just thinned out a bit on the top. I have super thick hair, so if it doesn't get thinned out I turn into the incredible white girl with a weird Hugh Grant Fro. So, the guy turns this information into God-Knows-What and cut nearly three inches off of my already very short hair!! He also cut the ends at an angle which makes them stick up at this totally weird, 1980s circa Susan Powter-Bugle Boy commercial way.
I'm a gay woman, but I seriously femme, and have no desire to look like an ex-groupie from Lilith fair (which I do). I tend to fly under the radar with the whole gay thing, but right now I'm my own little pride festival. Ack! Everywhere I go everyone is looking at me completely differently than they did yesterday.
It is freaking me out. I have cried a lot. Curse the haircutter. Curse him.

I'm living it now! Instead of trimming the bottom of my hair and long layers. Duh! I got an $80 trim of every hair on my head. I have shredded hair from the roots down. It looks so damaged. Apparently, hairdressers have decided this is a style.. However, I do not believe a single long haired woman in the world would agree to it if asked first. I cry all the time. I'm home now on the hair site seeking solace. It will take at least 2 years to grow out 15 minuteds of hairdresser incompetance. If you have long fine hair, just say no to "shattered," "chipped," texturized" hair!

I had to study this one! i'm a hairstylist! for 25 yrs, and that i've got considered and had to restoration my proportion of different stylists failures...to the female whos hair became frosted and it went undesirable by using getting it executed too quickly after ur infant became born, no longer! the bleach became too stable, and below warmth only melted ur hair, stylist errors... if u have a foul journey, pass back or call the only that did it and whinge yet i does not propose permitting them to do it back! in the event that they screwed up the 1st time wut makes u think of they are able to restoration it?? u would would desire to pay somebody else greater suitable cuz for me corrective colour amenities are tougher to handle, yet getting it suitable is what concerns the main. a stable hairstylist provides you with a unfastened consultation and choose what's the perfect answer. in my view, undesirable haircuts are no excuse in our marketplace, if u cant decrease u in the incorrect biz!!

Yes, I told my stylist I wanted my hair layered a little longer then shoulder length, she just keep on cutting. When she was done it was way above my shoulders. This was a couple of years ago. I started crying and told her it looked awful. I never went back there. I hated it soooo much. Lucky, it was the summer time so I didn't have to go to school.

I didn't cry, but I once was given a perm [ the only perm in my life ] and it came out super frizzy .... I think it was left on too long or not formulated for my type of hair,,whatever the reason, I had poodle-head for months and I hated it.

Yes... I used to be blonde and once they let the toner in too long and my hair went a lighter shade of purple... I looked like one of those little old ladies for a couple of days until I could get it fixed... I was devastated and got ALOT of wear out of several hats
