So what if she tells? It's not a bad secret. You could always say 'I do not like him', if you felt the need too.

If he finds out will he tell his friends....maybe. If he does not like he he will for sure(hey that weird girl has a crush on me). If he likes you, he will keep it quiet.

When you are 14 the only way to keep a secret is to not tell anyone, not even your friends! Too late for that now, but even if he finds out and tells his friends, what is the worst thing that can happen? He should feel honored that someone as lovely as you has a crush on him. If he is a jerk about it, then you'll know the truth about him. Either way its a good thing to know where he stands. All the best!

If he will make fun of you for liking him, he's not worth it. If this 3rd friend is good friends with him (and you) then he will not make fun of you. Be careful, since you're 14, this 3rd friend might think that you're not telling her because you don't like her as much. If I were you, I would tell her, you have nothing to lose, only to gain.

Maybe you can even try making friends with your crush, you can either distance yourself or make yourself closer. Being casual friends before going out, will make your romantic relationship stronger.

Be careful with this third friend, if you tell her, then she will be least likely to tell him because she knows that you trust her. But if she finds out on her own, then she will be more likely to tell. Maybe you can even try to gain her trust.

Remember, you're 14, life will go on, so what happens, happens. If he finds out and starts making fun of you, then you are going to have a pretty hard time, but sooner or later everyone will get over it.
