Pour some vinegar on the spot, then sprinkle some baking soda on the vinegar right after it was poured. The vinegar and the baking soda will react and the smell will go away. Hope this helps!!!!!

You probably will have to get new carpet or get it treated as a whole since there are probably numerous sites that you can't find other than by your nose now.
Once you change the carpet you can keep it clean by doing this as soon as the accident occurs:

Take 1/4 cup white vinegar, mix with 3/4 cup lukewarm water and pour on the site. Let it sit a few minutes then soak up all the solution that you can with paper towels , tamping the spot with your foot until paper towel is no longer damp.
THEN, take some Resolve Tough Stain Carpet Cleaner spray and apply liberally to the same area. Let it sit a few minutes then get that solution up as well, as much as possible.
I have completed this process when training dogs and never had any, not any at all, lingering odor.

shop a sprig bottle of rubbing alcohol attainable. in the adventure that your puppy urinates, dab up the moist spot with a dry towel, absorbing as much as you may. Spray the section heavily with the alcohol and dab it dry. Spray returned, and blot it dry. 2 or thrice might desire to do the trick. in the adventure that your puppy poops... p.c.. up as quite some the feces as possible from the carpet. utilizing a ladle works nicely while that's slightly runny. Wash sparkling with alcohol and a rag 2 or thrice. you would be stable to pass! utilizing white vinegar can incredibly stink the living house if used alot. i admire the rubbing alcohol with the aid of fact it drys without postpone and leaves a purifier scent - mutually as pulling the scent out and permitting the padding under the carpet to no longer get slowed down with water or suds.

Baking soda (paste) will help and another thing to try would be OXYCLEAN... it is surprisingly effective on any number of things... Usually I let those things soak for extended periods of time (sometimes a few days) and often re-soaking three or four times...

The sad truth is though, that once dog or cat urine gets into the subfloor no amount of cleaning will help... it usually means a bit of remodeling and replacing the floor all the way down to the subfloor, and in REALLY bad cases even floor joists, if they have been affected...

Good luck!

In truth, all you are doing is hiding the smell which will keep it coming back time and time again. With already shampooing and using so many cleaners, the smell is nice and deep into your padding and flooring underneath. Vinegar is only going to temporarily hide the smell, Within a day, the smell is back to your dog which will attract them to go there again and you will be able to smell it again within 7-10 days max. The only thing that will work to get rid of the urine completely by neutralizing the crystals in the urine and actually getting rid of it, yes even into the padding and florring - is Urine Gone or Nature's Miarcle. Urine Gone works the best. Good luck!
