how long does it take for ice to freeze?

i am freezeing kool aid in my freezer because i want ice cubes in my kool aid that doesnt make it water down.so i was wondering how long i might have to wait until i can use these ice cubes..... if you could answer this question that would be great!!!!!! thanks so much!!!!!!!

But for the question itself --->> I think maybe 30min+
But it depends on the temperature of the water and the temperature of the freezer. I would think that with kool aid it would take a bit longer than with water, but not by much if any.

depends on the freezer temp,gennerally 1-2 hours , kool aid cubes are awesome if they are only 2/3 rds of the way frozen too, cuz the ya get abit of a slush

It depends on how what temperature your freezer is set at and the temperature of the water. I do know if you use warmer water it will chill faster. Good idea tho. Best of luck to you.
