And that is your opinion. You clearly have no experience of it, and are clearly not of sufficient sensitivity or openness to try. That is your loss. Quarks are very small, but that does not mean that I think that physicists with appropriate skill and knowledge will one day be able to manipulate them.
I am currently developing my skill with energy manipulation. It requires hard work, dedication and practice. To be able to percieve the very subtle differences in anything takes a degree of observation and sensitivity that some people are not willing to strive to develop. And that is their choice. I feel that they are missing out, however, that doesn't mean I am going to insult them on anonymous message boards.
I hope you find your balance someday, maybe then you will not be as blindly cynical and bitter. Considering someone elses viewpoint does not need dilute your own.

we did an experiment once with the kirlean
we asked everyone to send red thoughts into a room... so we all focused in whatever way we percieved red...
and the photo came out the brightest red i have ever seen ...
sometimes the best way to test things is not with humans ... but with space ..
we did this experiment a few times with great results
healing cannot be proven in this way ( i give you that ) although there are many to testify to it ... but we can find other reasons for results in many cases
but if you can experiment in different ways with energy ... you will be surprised with the results
energy can be manipulated
added note
if energy can be captured in the way i suggested with my experiments ... then if it captures it one way , why not another
why not the energy surrounding us , if it captures the energy of a room ?
lol the experiment was done with about 30 people there ... randi would just ruin the vibe ( dont start me on randi lol )

Hey pangel - if you can repeat that experiment, you can win a million dollars! www.randi.org
But if you can't, maybe you're just making it up?
Edit: How could someone 'ruin the vibe' if it's a real effect? Either it works or it doesn't. Besides, Randi doens't have to be there - you just have to do it under controlled conditions. What, you don't want a million dollars? I'm sure your church could use it - and you've got to have a bunch of people there who believe in it, right?

People think that because they've adopted Wicca, Paganism, new age religions, etc. that they've escaped the fundamentalism of traditional religions. The truth is that they've just found something that appeals even stronger to their egos and gives them a new identity and ... something that is EXACTLY the same in fundamental magical weirdness as traditional religions.
