i think of that cases while it relatively is in effortless terms mandatory, like as an occasion while the food market is great busy than i think of you will desire to have the potential to pass into the ten products or much less lane in spite of in case you have greater suitable than 10 products. I recommend I completely get the place your coming from, yet each and every so often some human beings would desire to be in slightly a hurry like they might desire to cook dinner something up for a occasion that we could say is in some hours. additionally all human beings has there very own seperate lives and we each and every make alternatives some effortless some no longer. and that i've got continuously made the selection of only evidently procuring greater suitable than ten products and getting in a commonplace lane so i do no longer look like that individual who went in the line with 10 products or much less with greater suitable than 10 products.

this is one of my hugest pet peeves in life....more than once i thought i'd end up stabbing some-one in the eye for having too many items......what is wrong with these people?? do they think they are better than everyone else and can just make up their own rules???......i know this is totally petty, but i will totally count people's items at the 10 item or less line and then loudly say "he has 14 items...can't he read?" ....i also hate it when people go to the 10 or less line and have 47 cans of something and claim that it's "one" item since they are all the same thing....well, sorry they are NOT...it takes the cashier 47 times longer to bag those 47 things than to bag one thing, and this is the EXPRESS line!!!....i think people who break the express lane rule should be executed on sight

All the time! I prefer to use the self-checkouts because I am faster and a better bagger than the employees (they stick my milk in with my eggs and pie crusts). There are always LINES of people with 40 items in those, and they are supposed to be express lanes. Problem is that they aren't monitored. I hate people.

This has happened to me plenty of times. I think people do this because they think they are slick and can get away with it, but it's pretty obvious. One time this person cut in front of me with way too many items. As they were checking out and I counted that they had 33 item in a 15 or less line. After they were done checking out I tapped on their shoulder and asked "Can't you read? The sign says 15 or less. Or maybe you did it because you're a bastard. You could tell they felt stupid after that.

Yes, it's happened to me. It makes me CRAZY! They do it because "we" don't do anything about it. And the cashier doesn't do anything about it. About twice of having to load it all back up and go to the END of another line, would do it, I'd say. About 5 years ago someone did that and got shot for it - saw it in the Dallas paper. Of course, Texas folk usually do take matters into their own hands that way!

You should call 'em on it. I used to not say anything to rude people but I had a change in heart and now my new motto in life is "No More Mr. Nice Guy" I now take pleasure in correcting these rude folks when they cross the line.

This happens because the cashier lets them and you don't say anything. But I've worked in retail for a long time and most every store is strict on this policy.

It's because rules don't apply to them, their lives are more important. These are the same people who don't think they should have to wait for a table in a restaurant, like everyone else.

Yes this has happened to me. Yes it is rude.
Perhaps it's due to laziness
(to lazy to walk down one more lane)
Or stupidity
( cannot read the sign )
Lack of awareness out side of one's self
( so absorbed in their own thoughts that they are running on
auto-pilot )
