my friend is getting her first tatto and she wants some thing cute....she already knows that she wants it on her back( a little below her neck)...and she wants an "S" in script and in black..but she wants some thing cute around it....does anyone have any ideas?....

Why not some kind of flower twisted around it, or ivy? Is there a certain kind of flower that means something to her? Maybe she could get the flower that corresponds to her birth month:
January - Carnation
February - Violet
March - Jonquil
April - Sweet Pea
May - Lily of the Valley
June - Rose
July - Larkspur/Morning Glory
August - Gladiola
September - Aster
October - Marigold
November - Chrysanthemum
December - Narcissus

talk to a good artist. They are best to assist you in this. also, look at the tattoo flash on the walls and if something strikes your friend she could ask about incorporating it.
I would think a good artist could just do some great black-ink tribal work around the letter 'S'. Maybe flowers or butterflies tied in would be cute.

well i would say put a butterfly around it and have the s come down in the middle ( normally where a butterfly body is) i think it will look cute and different bc no one has a tattoo like dat.
