.....station and the preacher said "You know you always have the
Lord by your side", and I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran twenty red lights in his honor.

Should I have gotten a ticket like I did?

you should have gotten 20 tickets, you could have killed someone, and scared the hell out of God.

Jesus is always with his disciples but, consider this also, 1st John says if you claim to walk in the light but, walk in the darness, you are a liar. That means if you claim salvation and Christ with you but, break the law/run red lights, you are a liar. That word from the greek means you live your life as a lie, therefore questioning if you really do know Jesus.

Absolutely you should have. Not only was it dangerous and stupid, it was also breaking the law. And I don't really see how that honours anyone.
I was once driving down Big Sur in almost complete darkness with wet roads ahd in an unfamiliar car, and there was gospel music playing on the radio. I am certain that He was with me that night.

When you stand before God someday, ask Him then and see how funny and significant your question might be then. You waste precious time and energy with such a foolish question. You are a tiny speck on a tiny blue sphere in a vast universe who only gets to be here for a tiny lifespan and you are going to waste moments of it on this stuff? If you died going through a red light tonight, wouldn't you want to leave a more significant message behind?
Wow.......get a grip!

well you realy should be on HisSide when you do this. but you also must remember the world on their side, is not on HisSide. and if you only got one ticket for running 20 red lights. i would say you must of forgott to stop for all the green ones in His Honor too. in order to prevent getting the one.

ps; you might also want to make sure the preacher is on TheSide of G-D, before you find out he is on the side of the police not, realy on G-D'S side too.

Good grief to redeemedhart! You know that is what turns some people off to Christianity, thinking that they can't do anything without being condemned to hell.

I thought it was a funny question AND I am a Christian.
