my mom is a hair sltylist and i just recently told her i wanted side swept bangs and she knew exactly what i was talking about and i didn't even have to show her a pic...it turned out to be just what i wanted to be. If they are good stylist then they should know.

No, never do that. You must be very specific unless it is someone you trust completeley to know your style or else it could end up messy. Instruct them on how you want it to look by pointing at pictures they probably have then ask them if that would be a good style for you, and remember don't go to places like Great Cuts if you are really picky about your hair and want it to look perfect. Hope it turns out good!

make an appointment and say u want side swept bangs. ask them if they know what your talking about before they do it though.

Or, you could just find a picture you like and bring it in to her.
