Its ok to do things to make yourself happy, but it shouldn't be your main priority in life. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. The more you serve him, the happier you become. He deposits the desires in you, and in turn you prosper, because you are walking in His will, with something you love. But, He should be kept first. Always keep him first, and then, You will be happy. Self worship? There are many facets of that, If you are consumed with YOU and only YOU. Then yes, you can "idolize" yourself. As I said before, I "believe" He should be kept first. God bless.

Living to make yourself happy is a condition of self-worship. A Christian lives to make God happy, and in doing so finds happiness there-in.

That would depend on " How " you make your self happy. For quite a few Christian, happiness comes from serving God. Now, I think another definition of Self-Worship would be narcissism.

Happiness is a momentary thing and the memory thereof soon fades. Self you have to live with your whole life. Worship means to fall prostrate and kiss the Master's feet affectionately. Good luck~!

Yes, living is to make yourself happy and self worthy. It is a sin to commit suicide and if you are not happy you call on the Lord to give you strength so you can be happy and self worthy.

For a Christian it is an identical God who they have self assurance they understand extra about than the Jews. although present day Jews will probable say it is not a similar God because they have self assurance we worship 3 separate God's, or only Jesus, who they don't have self assurance is there God.

I must reject your use of the word Christians as too broad since the views would vary greatly as would the interpretation of the written word. My own view is that God provided for mankinds happiness through his plan of redemption through his Son Jesus and to fail to recognize and accept that plan would not reflect true worship as he intended.
