In a frying pan saute a clove of garlic, onion, cilantro in olive oil. thinly slice some steak, (or ground beef if you prefer), until well cooked. For more flavor you can also add chopped red pepper and a jalapeno.

Get some tortillas put on a grill put some monteray jack cheese top with the above meat mixture add more cheese, top with another tortilla, keep flipping the sandwich until cheese is melted.

Steak all the way. The only reason the restaurant serves beef is because of American influence. If you go to an authentic Mexican restaurant they will not serve beef qeusidillas.

Only three kinds of meat should ever be in a good quesadilla:

1) Steak
2) Carnitas (pork)
3) Chicken

I don't see beef on there, so steak it is!
