Well I Think If A Teen Is Ready To Have Sex Then They Are Ready To Grow An Have A Baby. They Know The Consequences Of Sex. Teens Aren't As Stupid As The Society Stereotypes Them To Be. I Know This Because I'm A Soon To Be Teen Mommie. An There Is No Way I Would Go Back An Change It For The World. Its The Best Experience A Girl Can Go Through. It Teaches You More Responsibility. The Same Exact Thing's A Woman In Her 20's Would Learn. Teen Mom's Just Learn it At A Earlier Age. There Is No Age limit On Having A Baby!! The First Time You Have Sex Your Have Became Old Enough To Have A Baby. Don't Go An Have An Abortion Just Because "Your Too Young" Its Completely Wrong. Anyways.. If Your Against Teen Mommies, Then This Was A Completely ridicules Question To Ask...

Teen mums. I don't think anyone should have the goal of being a teen mum b/c the resources and life experiences needed to raise a child just aren't there.
However, obviously, some teens do become mums and some really do mature overnight and do an excellent job of raising their children. Other teen mums are simply the children that they themselves are.
As for the right age to have a child, I think circumstances are more important. Being in a stable relationship, preferably marriage, having financial and emotional resources to care for the child, and being willing to make the huge sacrifice that is being a parent.

I was a senior in high school when I had my first child. It is hard. I don't think anyone should ever plan on having a child so young. Especially since there are things that pop up that you can't possibly plan for.
If I didn't have the support of my mom and the father (who is now my husband) then it would have been even harder for me. A great support system is a must IMO.

i don't think teen moms are bad! being a teen mom isn't what most people plan on doing but sometimes it happens. some are mature, some grow up fast and are great loving respected mothers. but some are immature. not all teen moms should be classified as being immature. you should judge someone on their attitude and how they handle situations. if they have a baby and don't act like a good mother or continue having babies that they can not afford or something like that then yes, thats bad. but if they act like a good mother then it doesn't matter what theyre age is. theres even older moms out there that aren't necessarily responsible mothers. so i don't think age matters at all.

i feel a teen misses out on a lot of things when they get pregnant. i was 22 when i had my first baby.. and looking back i wish i could have waited a few more years. i know you will need a lot of support, by friends and family and hopefully the fathers family and the father. but dont worry about what others think about you, how do you feel about it? talk to family and friends about that also. with enough support and the right attitude on your part, you will be just fine. i hope you have a healthy baby. i am sure you will. take care and please take my advice.....dont worry about what others may think, your feelings are the ones that count. congrats on the coming baby!

good question...I had my daughter at 19. I thought i was all grown up, etc. I don't regret it because i had enough energy and patience to keep up with her. Although it was tough at times....i divorced her father due to his drug problem and was a single mom who at times had to work 5 jobs. I was lucky in that I could take her to 3 of those jobs. Now i am a successful photographer, but the road to success was a challenge. She's now 14 and miss those baby years. ;) I think that it is a personal choice as to what age.....but given the fact you are responsible for another person...Parenthod should come when you are financialy and socialy stable.

I don't know why you are asking this type of question . I am sure telling you if you are against them than stop reading my answer,
I was 17 when I had my daughter and 19 when I had my son and will be 22 when I have my third child.
Yes i did miss out on some things but oh well I have children now and once you have a child you learn to grow up.
I think that if you are old enough to have sex than you are old enough to become a parent.
