Read the cooking directions on the back of the bag of noodles. Most require 10-12 minutes of boiling to become tender. Be sure the water is boiling before adding the noodles then reduce the heat to prevent boiling over. Don't over cook they will become mushy and inedible. After cooked, drain excess water and add butter or other sauce for serving.

Noodles, spaghetti, and the like must be cooked in boiling salted
water before they become edible.

Add salt to water, and taste. When it tastes right, then put the
water on the burner to boil.

Put the pasta into the boiling water, and cook for roughly 7-10 minutes, depending upon how soft you like it.

Drain the pasta with a sieve or collander, add butter or olive oil,
and shake, to keep the pasta from sticking together.

Add any sauce you like, and you are ready to go.

Heat up a kettle full of lightly salted water with a quarter cup of vegetable oil added and when boiling add the package of "hard" noodles and boil until just tender. Strain and serve with your choice of sauce or, drawn butter and pepper to taste.

add to boiling water , add either a little cooking oil or butter, that keeps the noodles from sticking . boil till soft or how ever you want them. pour into a strainer, colender and you are done . If you rinse them use hot water so the noodles don't get cold.

Boil a pot of water.

Add "hard" noodles.

Cook noodles for 6-12 minutes depending on the type of noodle. (If you are not certain, you can "test" the noodle by pulling one out of the pot to see if is cooked enough for your personal taste.)

When all else fails: read the directions on the box!

All you have to do is put them in a pot of water and a little bit of oil and bring them to a boil for 10-15 minutes. Check them periodically for the desired texture.
