I do have oil & butter as well. Forgot to mention that.

A recipe called Easy Fudge Brownies
2/3 C shortening
2 T unsweenened cocoa powder
1 C white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 C all-purpose flour
1 t vanilla extract
1) preheat oven to 350, Grease a 9 inch square baking pan.
2) Melt shortening and cocoa in the top of a double boiler over low heat. Stir occasionally until shortening is melted. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Slowly add in flour and mix well. Spread batter evenly in pan.
3) Bake 18 to 20 minutes, until toothpick inserted in the center of brownies comes out clean. Let cool before cutting.
Makes 2 dozen.
Hopefully you have some vanilla. Good luck!

Chocolate Pudding
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup sugar (caster)
50 gm butter
2 x eggs
1/2 cup flour, self-raising
1 tbl cocoa powder
Method :
Separate the eggs.
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add the egg yolks, one at a time and beat well.
Stir in flour and cocoa sifted together. Add milk gradually. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
Pour into a buttered pie dish. Bake in moderate oven 350F/190C for 1/2 hour.
Borrow some butter from your neighbor if you like but i never have added it.

If you have marshmallow fluff and powdered sugar then I would make whoopee pies. As a matter of fact I made some last night for a bake sale.

You can make brownies if you have butter or a chocolate cake if you have shortening and baking powder. Theres not much you can bake without baking powder or baking soda and shortening or butter.

hmmm well you could bake a lot of kinds of cookies, maybe, but you'd probably need butter or oil as well.

If you also have baking powder, you could make brownies or chocoalte cake. With milk, you could make chocolate pudding.

Dutch Choc. cookies, but you would also have to have baking soda.
