How do I make pulled pork?

I generally make it from my left over pork roast and pork rib dinners. Just pull the meat from the bones if any are present and shred with a fork. In a skillet or 6 quart sauce pan, cook up some diced onion or thinly sliced onion(like for a stir fry). I also like to add some green pepper. Once the onion begins to clarify, add the left over pork and add your favorite BBQ sauce and let it simmer at least 30 to 45 minutes. The longer it cooks the more tender and flavorful it will become. I like to cook up my onion and peppers and then transfer everything over to a crock pot set on low and let it go for several hours.

I use a Boston Butt Roast and cook it in a Crock Pot on the low setting. You should cook it several hours or all day depending on the size of the roast. When meat is tender enough to pull apart (stick fork in roast to determine tenderness) remove from Crock Pot and pull meat apart removing all the fat and bone. I do this with my hands after it has cooled down. I then put shredded meat back in the Crock Pot and add Bull's Eye Barbecue sauce. The amount of sauce again depends on how big of roast you have. I like alot of sauce so that the meat stays moist. Just cook mixture long enough to heat through.

So easy.
Bill's Tennessee Pulled-Pork Barbeque

1 x pork shoulder, (6-8 lbs.)
SAUCE
2 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbl yellow prepared mustard
1 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste

Place pork shoulder in a large Dutch oven; cover with foil. Bake in oven at 275 degrees all night, or at least 8 hours. Remove from oven; let cool enough to touch. Pull meat from bone with fingers; "string" the larger pieces, discarding the fat. Place meat in a large casserole dish or Dutch oven; prepare sauce. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour sauce over meat; cover with foil.
Place back in oven; bake at 275 degrees for 3 hours. (Serve on warmed hamburger buns with your favorite trimmings!)

The first step is to get a pork butt/shoulder and cook it cook it in a smoker for several hour (Low and Slow) once the internal temp reached about 165 degrees. Once doen cooking it should be easy to pull the pork apart for your enjoyment.
