It's excellent for the short term, say getting a deposit back on rental property. Do it a few days before though, or the landlord/estate agent will smell the mint and try to find the cracks. Also, use the cheapest stuff you can find, Wilkinson's own brand is perfect. I rebuilt half a wall in my old place with that and no-one found out until the new tenants moved in and i had money back! Hahahaha

I think some Polyfilla would be better.

And if you do try the toothpaste thing, use a white toothpaste - I imagine Aquafresh would not be successful :)

Yes, I did that at my old apartment and got back every cent of the deposit! I recommend Tom's all natural toothpaste.

Nope, I tried this 30 years ago and was very disappointed in the results. But, if you like to lick something flat and minty its great!

dont think that is a good idea. toothpaste dries then crumbles so you'd be in a bigger mess.
