I want to use flavorings in my christmas chocolates but I don't know what kind to use. Is regular candy flavorings o.k. or do I need flavor oils?

You can use extracts. Any flavor you choose.
Pure Anise, Imitation Almond,Imitation Apricot, Imitation Banana,
Imitation Black Walnut, Imitation Brandy, Imitation Butter, Imitation Butterscotch, Imitation Cherry, Imitation Cinnamon Imitation Coconut, Imitation Creme de Menthe, Pure Lemon
Imitation Maple, Pure Orange, Imitation Peach, Imitation Peanut Butter, Imitation Pecan, Pure Peppermint, Imitation Pineapple Imitation Red Raspberry, Imitation Rum Pure Spearmint
Imitation Strawberry, Imitation Teaberry, Imitation Vanilla Butternut and Pure Wintergreen.
That's all I can think of. Hope you get some ideas.

What type of chocolates?
I've made truffles with liquors, orange extract, and mints.

oil of extracts work good...how about orange or peppermint?
