Ok...so my parents keep foster kids all the time. Recently there was a boy and a girl that I knew that came to live at our house for about 6 months. The girl is aged 12 and the boy is aged 13, going on 14 soon. They started to hang around with me (16) and my best friend (14) a lot. Before you know it, the guy and my best friend are going out. Then, he does something bad and gets sent away to go stay in a group home for some reason. They are still together and the guy recently came down for a visit after being away for a month or so. Here is the thing, when we hang out together, the four of us, It seems like he flirts with me, and likes me! We are always laughing together, and my best friend hardly says a thing! She is really shy.. he still holds around her and gives an occasional kiss, but thats it. She'll talk to him on the phone but hardly when shes around him. He ALWAYS laughs with me and talks with me, hardly ever her. MY QUESTION IS, do u think he really is into me?

((((OHY YEAH...around my town, everyone hangs around with different aged people. The guy I am talking about dated a girl that was 17 or 18 also before)))) I am confused. I like him alot too and think he likes me. Sometimes he comes really close to my face too and almost as if to kiss me. I don't want to make my friend sad or anything so what should I do???

At that time in life a persons affections can change with the weather. You are more likely to have a longer and more important relationship with your friend then some guy who doesn't stay in one place for long and seems to be getting in trouble with the law.

I personally think you both should probably stay away from this boy, but now she is involved with him. What do you think will happen? Is he going to get into more trouble or is he going to move back into your house or a remote relative maybe? You don't need to get involved here and if I was you I'd be a bit protective of my friend and try to help her keep some distance too.

Peace!

PS - It could be anything. I could just be that you have similar interests, it could be that he would love to date a 16yr old, it could be that he is just being friendly and you are reading more into it than there is or maybe he senses your interest and is teasing you or causing trouble. If you talk to him about it, then you are the one who puts it out there and your friend won't appreciate that. He can be a charming person to be around without being interested in you or a good catch.

hmm. thts a good question u have there. if he really does "flirt" w/ u as u say he does. then he might as well like u. but he maybe different because ur not his girlfriend so he feels more comfortable with you cuz your his friend. I hav the same problem. My friend's bf hardly says a word 2 her but always talks to me. So by my opinion, I think he's not into you.

Sweetheart, i recognize those circumstances all too nicely. In each and every extreme college there is often those jerk adult men. don't be fooled by his tries with the aid of fact it does appear like he's utilizing you for his very own exhilaration. that's okay to nevertheless have thoughts for the guy, whats up you probably did at one time, even with the undeniable fact that it migt be time to reevaluate the kind you 2 stand. upward push up for your self and carry your dignity, woman. as quickly as he sees which you're on top of problems with your man or woman existence, he will the two take care of you with that recognize or pass onto yet another woman who will enable him administration her. superb of success xoxo

It may be that he fancies you, but wants your friend, so he can't have the best of both worlds. You don't want to lose your best friend so maybe keep in check how you act around him, don't let him think you are interested in him otherwise you could lose your friend. & 2 best friends should't break up over a boy.

Tell your friend about this and how you feel. Console her though. And yes, I think he really is into you. But it looks so weird. You 16and him 13. That is awkward.
