im buying a car next week, what are your opinions?

next week im buying a new car. its between an 2007 eclipse gt and a 2007 mustang gt. im paying cash for what ever i buy. i like both but i want something not everyone else has. i dont see hardly as many new eclipses on the road, especially the gts. the eclipse has less hp but it is only 37 hp less than the mustang. it is also lighter. what are yalls opinions

I never buy new, because of the depreciation, but if you have to , get the Mustang :)

I like the Mustang better, just preference, both, are probably good cars.
You covered a very good point in that you will pay cash. This how I do and put what I would normally pay monthly into a separate savings account. Then when it time to do this again, I can pay cash and still have money in the bank, instead of the bank getting my money.

I wouldn't buy either one. I DO NOT like American cars. They seem cheap to me. But if I were to get one of the two choices you mentioned, I'd get the Eclipse. You're right, there seem to be less of them on the road (in my condo association of 20 or so households, there are atleast 3 Mustangs - all Silver). My husband also has a friend who, in his Eclipse, almost outran the cops - until he took a wrong turn. Good Luck!

Mustang... Gorgeous.
Mistibishis aren't that reliable over the long haul. Why pay for something that will sit in a shop half the time?

I have never had either car but I did rent a really cool silver mustang once. It was awesome. Lots of power and just a really neat car. I would definitely recommend it.
