How do style my hair?

I have EXTREMELY long hair (estimated 1 foot past my shoulders). I am cutting it for locks of love in Janurary, but i don't know what to do with it know.

up in pony tail
half up in pony tail and other half down
braids
all up in pony tail
down
straightened
curled

keep it growing so when it gets cut you can have it at perfect length (at shoulder blades). Probably tie into pony tail for convenience for now

put it up in a ponytail. or you could curl it , it makes it look shorter and it's easier to deal with.
