no more nicotine patches, no more angry words @ family
I'm so Fing sick of struggling, F it, when I think of my ex- girl that dumped me- I will do my best to focus on the now and what I'm currently doing, when I think of my bad finances and my current career confusion I will do some deep breathing and not make anything worse, deep breathing yes...my struggle is not over, I will have withdrawls yes, they are good...they will remind me I'm doing something positive and they will pass. No one can do this for me- God help me- whatever you are- help me- I am so tired

forget the patches, the pills, etc. just think....here is a company that sat around a table and actually has thought of ways to make me addicted to their product, lied about it and still to this day lie about it. get mad, get angry at them. when you feel that crave come on say....NO....I am wiser and smarter than those fat f*cks sitting around that table trying to mind control me....no more.

the girl.....just call her a b*tch and move on.....be happy she dumped you now and not later...later = more money wasted on her sorry @ss. there are a TON of women out there...be happy you tagged one more as worthless.

career.....do as you please...its your life. money doesn't make happiness nor does power. do what you like, what you enjoyed as a kid and then you'll be happy. I myself use to draw and paint as a kid but turned into a corporate suit. I shredded the suit and now I play with art again as a web designer. 1000% stress reduction.

bad finances....pffft....who doesn't have them. never feel like anyone is watching you or see's you as they all have debt too. normally most of this debt will come from trying to keep up with the Johnsons....forget it....like above....do what you like and what you enjoy....who cares if your car or tv is different than the neighbors. let them go into debt as sooner or later they will fall hard.

have the shell of an adult but the insides of a 9 yr old climbing trees and riding a bike...you'll enjoy life more. was advice given to me and I'm a believer.

We all go through tough patches in life. I'm so sorry to hear your girlfriend dumped you. Your right, as tough as times are, and as heartbreaking as losing someone you care for is, releasing negative emotions upon your family is wrong, and I am proud that you are wise enough to see this.

Quitting smoking is a healthy decision. I don't know if cold turkey is the best way to go though, you seem to have enough stress in your life right now. Withdrawls are a natural part or quitting smoking but may add to your stress level.

I'm glad to see you have found a way to cope with your situation. Deep breathing is a good way to release stress and give yourself some time to think, but you should also talk to some one in your family, or some one who cares about you in the real world about your strong emotions.

Remember, keep your head up, you are a special person unique in this world and that god loves you and has a special purpose for you in your life. Don't give up and don't give in, life is sometimes tiring but god only sends us what we can handle.

May the peace knowlege and love of god be with you.

Hi,

Great post! Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, and I thought I wasn't addicted!

Here's what I tried before finding success: hypnosis, those fake cigaretts, the nicotine patch, and group therapy....none worked.

I finally tried this HERBAL patch I bought 6 months ago on the net. They claim a 97% success rate. Well, it worked! They had a sweet deal which was a free 10 day trial for only $3.95 including shipping (it's regularly $53 for 10 days)!!

I don't know if they still have that deal, but it's worth a try.

Good luck!

I have trouble ridding myself of one bad habit at a time, and you're doing all of yours at the same time.
