I work full time, cook, and have so much else to offer, but i just can't clean after work, and find it hard to pick up after myself.
I figure 1/4 of my paycheck would pay for a maid, right?

well it sounds like you are a hard worker. Maybe you can clean up once a month. That would lower the slob look I'm sure.

I did. I did. We've been married 30 years and I'm still picking up his socks -- except when I get fed up and leave 'em to see how high the pile will get before he finally notices! (I close the door on our daughter's bedroom; smells like teen spirit, for sure!)
In your case, invest in a maid! If you're working fulltime, love to and can cook and have many other attractive qualities, that should be way more than enough!
After all, nobody's perfect, dates and a future spouse included! (And when you marry and a child comes into the picture, you might as well forget about picking up!)

That all depends. It would take a visual picture to determine if u are date/marriage material. The less the mess the better the chance u are. U sound like u would be a good ketch but I dont like a female that doesnt take care of herself. U sound the same as me. I work two jobs and go to college part time. I dont have much time to clean but I will stay up late or clean when I should be relaxing cause I know that most females dont like a man that doesnt clean or take care of home.

i have not in any respect dated a slob, yet i keep in mind that not in any respect bypass right into a relationship waiting for the different individual to modify. if that is the way he's, probability is that that is the way he will stay, except he -and really he- needs to modify. so if he's a slob now and it drives you insane, then it prob continually will. in case you may make peace with that, and stay non confrontal about it, then you truthfully can bypass ahead inclusive of your relationship. in the different case, possibly only stay friends.

Get a housecleaner to come in twice a month and it takes the load off. Worth the extra money, and I bet it won't take 25%!

Just take an hour a day to clean up your stuff, your place will be spot-free in a week.
