lots of people say use wigs or manequins, but those are not comparable to black hair. I suggest practicing on your own head or some close family and friends. but DO NOT attempt to color or cut anyones head. Stick to styling only. Thats how I got my start.

your just like me if you can find a person but if you cant then do what i did.. go to walmart and buy those bratz styling heads tht have long hair.. :) there fun and dont complain(best thing about them) and CHEAP ---hope that helps

you can use a variety of wigs... and also dolls,, also anyone who is willing to let you practice on them (after practicing on the wigs and dolls)
