Sorry kid theyre an ivy league team so that means if you where #1 you still couldnt go to the national championship its like this when they set up the bowl game matches the choose the #1 team in independents Army ,Navy Temple etc ...and the #2 team from the Pac-10 example CAL : they put those two teams to play in the Liberty bowl as an example because only 2 different leagues can play in that bowl. So theres your answer

Rutgers could have gone to the national championship if they stayed undfeated and a few key teams lost games. however, now that they lost to the bearcats, and louisville won... and there arent going to be enough upsets to carry them to the title game.

however, they are underated. they have an amazing defense, and an all star running game.

yes...and they will have beaten a good Pitt squad also...but there non-conference schedual will kill them in the long run.

They have by far the best backfield in college football and i didn't think much of there D until that Lousiville game...talk about great 1/2 time adjustments and superior coaching.

Yes. All the teams above them are playing each other, and this isn't "The Lowly Big East" of yore.

I don't think the schedule they play warrants a berth in the championship game.

Moot point, since they aren't going undefeated.

West Virginia will beat them on December 2.

no, their overall strength of schedule would be too weak. They played no good teams outside their conference
