Chances are you were bitten by a spider. Spiders often like the soft eyelid tissues and bite it in the night.
Clean your eye with a soft, wet rag several times during the day and the swelling should go down.

you might have a corneal abrasion...i know, because i am a contact wearer and i scratched my eye one time taking them out..it could be pink eye...or an allergy to animals
go to the doctor...they'll give you better advice!

conjuntivitis? go to the er if its still swollen. that happens to my tongue sometimes.i have to go to the hospital,eventually my throat will close up.good luck

well it might be allergies or sinus problems If it happens agian you should see your doctor
