I got pulled over on the Ohio turnpike and i got a citation. The officer said to call them in a week if they didn't call me first to see if i get a ticket? This so so odd to me and i don't understand what this means. I am not from ohio so i don't have to wait around and go to court or anything. This is my first time being pulled over.

I know if you live out of state, sometimes they will keep your license until you pay the ticket, and then mail it back but if I were you...I'd call the number on your citation to find out exactly what you're supposed to pay. The tickets I've gotten in Ohio generally have the fine listed on the back.
